The Committee notes the Government’s statement in its report that the outbreak of war on 15 April 2023 has significantly hindered many activities, directly affecting the functioning of the Labour Inspectorate, as well as the overall implementation of labour legislation.
Articles 20 and 21 of the Convention. Publication and communication to the ILO of an annual report. The Committee notes that State labour offices are required to submit periodic reports to the Coordination Unit of the Ministry of Labour. However, the Committee once again notes that no annual labour inspection reports have been submitted to the ILO for over 30 years. While noting the difficult situation in the country, the Committee once again urges the Government to take all possible measures to ensure that labour inspection reports are prepared annually, published and transmitted to the ILO, in accordance with Articles 20 and 21 of the Convention.
The Committee is raising other matters in a request addressed directly to the Government.
