Articles 2 and 5 of the Convention. Effective tripartite consultations. The Committee notes the Government’s indication that the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Dialogue consults with the representative employers’ and workers’ organizations regarding: (i) questionnaires on the items of the International Labour Conference agenda (hereinafter the Conference); and (ii) reports on the implementation of ratified Conventions to be submitted to the ILO in accordance with article 22 of the ILO Constitution (Article 5(1)(a) and (d) of the Convention). Additionally, tripartite consultations are held regarding the reports concerning unratified Conventions to be submitted to the ILO pursuant to article 19 of the ILO Constitution, and the determination and preparation of the delegation for participation in the Conference. Moreover, tripartite consultations on the re-examination of unratified Conventions are conducted within the framework of the Social Council (Article 5(1)(c)). The Government indicates that, once consensus is reached among the social partners, a draft law for the ratification of the relevant Convention is prepared. The Committee notes with interest that, based on the consensus of the social partners and the proposal of the Social Council, the Convention on Violence and Harassment, 2019 (No. 190), was ratified on 27 February 2025. The Committee requests the Government to continue to provide information on thefrequency, content and outcome of tripartite consultations held on all matters concerning international labour standards covered by Article 5(1) of the Convention.
