Articles 2 and 5 of the Convention. Effective tripartite consultations. In its report, the Government indicates progress made in strengthening social dialogue and tripartite consultations under the Convention, involving relevant ministries, workers’ and employers’ groups, and the ILO Office for Indonesia and Timor-Leste. It indicates in particular the tripartite consultations held regarding: (i) the questionnaires on “A framework for quality apprenticeships” and “Biological hazards in the working environment”, the standard‑setting item on “Decent work in the platform economy”, the inclusion of safe and healthy working conditions in the ILO’s framework of fundamental principles and rights at work, and the examination of the amendment to the Code of the Maritime Labour Convention (Article 5(1)(a)); (ii) the preparation of reports under article 22 of the ILO Constitution on ratified Conventions and Article 19 on unratified Conventions and Recommendations (Article 5(1)(d)); and (iii) the proposals for the denunciation of ratified Conventions (Article 5(1)(e)). The Government also indicates that it remains committed to implementing the Convention through consultative processes that ensure labour policies are effective and responsive to the needs of both workers and employers. The Committee notes, however, that the report does not contain information regarding consultations on the submission of instruments to the competent authorities (Article 5(1)(b)) or the re-examination of unratified Conventions (Article 5(1)(c)). The Committee therefore requests the Government to provide detailed information on the consultations held concerning the proposals to be made to the parliament in connection with the submission of instruments recently adopted by the Conference (notably from the 111th and 113th ILC sessions). It further requests information on any consultations held to re-examine unratified Conventions to consider what measures might be taken to promote their implementation and ratification, as required by Article 5(1)(c).
