Article 7(2)(a) of the Convention. Enforcement of the system of medical examinations for fitness for employment of minors engaged either on their own account or on account of their parents. With reference to its previous comments, the Committee notes the Government’s indication that, under the terms of section 96 of the Act on growing up together for the comprehensive protection of infants, children and young persons of 2022 (the “Act on growing up together”), in order to work, young persons are required to be entered in the corresponding register, which is administered by the Executive Branch for labour and social welfare and which must contain, among other indications, information on the medical examination. The Committee notes with interest that section 96 also provides that the Executive Branch for labour and social welfare shall also issue credentials to young persons certifying their recognition as authorized workers. The Committee requests the Government to indicate: (i) whether section 96 of the Act on growing up together also provides that young persons working on their own account or on account of their parents shall be entered in the register of the Executive Branch for labour and social welfare and obtain credentials accrediting them as authorized workers; and (ii) if so, the number of young persons working on their own account or on account of their parents who have been registered and have received credentials from the Executive Branch for labour and social welfare.
