Vessel is now believed to be called Alseter. The ship is apparently under detention for an ongoing court case.
ITF Arab World Network contact in Iraq visited the crew (14th January) and supplied provisions and water.

Reference to the trailing mail, wherein it is mentioned that 6 Indian seafarers were on board of vessel Lidoma notified that abandonment on 12 December 2024 at Port, Al Kashib, Iraq.
However, according to DGS E-Governance records, it is found that no Indian seafarer was placed on board of the said vessel.
In view of the above, it is requested to kindly provide the List of Indian Seafarers on board of the said vessel at the earliest so that Directorate can proceed with the necessary action.
