(From the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure)

According to the latest information received from Bandirma Regional Port Authority regarding the status of the vessel ‘DIDIM FATSA’; it was reported that;.

• the vessel berthed at the Port of Bandirma/BAGFAS, unloaded its cargo, and anchored at the anchorage area of Bandirma on September 25, 2025.
• Following the ship's anchoring, four personnel had off-boarded. Due to a lack of fresh water and provisions on board, fresh water, foodstuffs, and cleaning supplies were provided and the supplies were forwarded to the ship.
• ***, a member of the ship's crew who was reported to be in need of medical assistance, was transferred from the ship by Coast Guard units and transported to the hospital for treatment.
• the related Kocaeli and Istanbul Courts of Enforcement have issued judgments of sequestration regarding the ship's restriction from sailing.
• Due to the shipowner abandoning the ship, its management is being carried out by the ship's P&I insurance company and the relevant Courts of Enforcement.
• It has been informed that the ship's crew has been partly paid their wages and that the remaining part will be paid.
• The Bandirma Regional Port Authority is coordinating efforts to secure the vessel by docking it in the port.
