With regards to the abandonment of LIBERTAS, IMO Number 9016882, I have contacted Port State Control of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
PSC has informed us that the Turkish seafarer has signed off the vessel and has been repatriated. PSC received the information from the ITF inspector on 26-5-2026 at 09:28.

“ I hereby confirm that the concerned seafarer has informed me that they successfully received the salary payments in their bank accounts. Thank you for your cooperation and for the efforts made by the Company to resolve this matter and complete the crew change and final settlements.
From our side, the matter can now be considered resolved.

With regards to the abandonment of LIBERTAS, IMO Number 9016882 I have contacted West P&I as the insurer. West P&I is aware of this matter and has already been in direct contact with the ITF Netherlands. The seafarer was disembarked in June, and ITF confirmed the below in writing to West on 22 June:

I have today received confirmation that the Second Officer has signed off the vessel and has been successfully repatriated. I have also informed all relevant parties accordingly.
As the seafarer has now been relieved and repatriated, the abandonment case can be considered resolved and closed from my side.
Your involvement and support in bringing this matter to a successful conclusion have been greatly appreciated.
